Industrial & Disturbed Ground

Reclamation & Revegetation

Aerial seeding and application options for industrial sites, disturbed ground and reclamation projects throughout the Peace Country.

Built For Sites With No Good Access

Reclamation ground is often the hardest ground to work: narrow right-of-ways, wellsite footprints in the middle of standing crop or bush, stripped slopes, borrow areas, stockpiles and recontoured surfaces with no seedbed and no road in.

Aerial seeding reaches those sites without hauling equipment across a producer's field, cutting new access or working a machine on a slope it shouldn't be on. Coverage can follow the shape of the disturbance instead of the shape a tractor can drive.

Work Suited To Aerial Application

  • Revegetation seeding on wellsites, leases and facility footprints.
  • Pipeline and utility right-of-way seeding, including long narrow corridors.
  • Slopes, cut banks and reclaimed contours that are unsafe for ground equipment.
  • Erosion-prone areas and washouts needing quick cover.
  • Follow-up seeding where the first attempt came up thin.

Working With Contractors And Landowners

Reclamation work usually has more than one party involved: the operator, the reclamation contractor, an agrologist and the landowner. Seed mixes, rates and timing are typically prescribed, and drone application is one way to place them on ground that would otherwise be difficult or damaging to access.

Access permissions, site boundaries and any airspace or site-specific restrictions need to be sorted out before flying, so send along whatever site information you already have.

What To Include In Your Request

Site location, approximate area, the prescribed seed mix or product and rate, terrain and slope, and any access or timing constraints. Pricing depends on those details plus travel to the site.

Application availability depends on the product, label requirements, site conditions and applicable regulations.
